Taggart People is a consultancy specialising in talent, leadership, and learning, founded by me, Mark Taggart.

With over 25 years of experience in corporate and professional services, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people and organisations grow. I’ve held senior VP and Director-level talent roles across industries including telecommunications, retail (automotive and luxury fashion), technology, professional services, and global distribution.

Now, I focus exclusively on working with my clients to address their unique challenges.

In addition to consulting and delivering tailored projects, I’m an experienced coach, working one-to-one and with teams. My strong commercial background enables me to support leaders in overcoming their biggest challenges, whether it’s navigating career transitions, solving critical problems, or unlocking their potential.

I hold a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham - surprisingly relevant in my work! I’m also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and I qualified as an ICF Accredited Coach in 2016. Additionally, I am a Hogan Certified practitioner and an enthusiastic follower of Transactional Analysis.
